Privacy Policy

Verem Platform, operated by the entity responsible for the VEREM digital entertainment ecosystem, values the privacy of its users and is committed to protecting the personal data collected across its services, including Void (the unified authentication center) and every project and game associated with the platform.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store and protect your information, in compliance with applicable international data protection standards, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent frameworks in force across the jurisdictions where our users reside.

For the purposes of this Policy:

• Platform: all services offered by Verem Platform, including the Void app and other associated projects.
• User: any person who accesses or uses Verem Platform services.
• Personal Data: any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

2.1 Data provided directly by the user

When a user chooses to authenticate through external providers (such as Google or Apple), we may receive basic profile data from those providers, subject to their own privacy policies.

3. Purpose of Processing

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

• Creating and managing the unified Void account;
• Authentication and access control across platform services;
• Personalizing the user experience;
• Account-related communications (email confirmation, password recovery, security notifications);
• User support and troubleshooting;

• Preventing fraud, abuse and violations of the Terms of Use;
• Complying with legal and regulatory obligations.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

• Consent: for marketing communications and optional features;

• Service providers: companies that help us operate the platform (hosting, transactional email, analytics), engaged under confidentiality obligations;
• Ecosystem projects: other Verem Platform games and services you access with your Void account, respecting the permissions granted;

• Protection of rights: when necessary to protect the rights and safety of the platform or third parties.

6. Storage and Security

Data is stored on servers with professional security standards, including:

• Encryption of data in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest;
• Passwords stored exclusively as hashes (never in plain text);
• Restrictive access controls to production data;
• Continuous monitoring for security and unauthorized access attempts;
• Regular backups to ensure integrity and availability.

Despite the measures adopted, no system is 100% secure. In the event of a security incident affecting your data, we will notify the affected users and the competent authorities within the timeframes required by applicable law.

7. Data Retention

We keep your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy or for the period required by applicable law. Accounts inactive for more than 24 months may be terminated after prior notice. After an account is closed, the data will be deleted or anonymized, except where a legal retention obligation applies.

• Analyze service usage and performance (analytics);

Verem Platform operates globally and your data may be processed in countries other than your own. When we transfer personal data across jurisdictions, we take appropriate safeguards to ensure that your data is protected in accordance with this Policy and applicable law, including through standard contractual clauses or transfers to jurisdictions recognized as providing an adequate level of protection.

11. Minors

Verem Platform services are intended for users aged 13 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we identify such collection, we will delete the information immediately. Users between 13 and 17 years old must have the consent of their legal guardians.

12. Changes to This Policy

This Policy may be updated periodically. We will notify users of material changes by email or through a notice on the platform. Continued use of the services after notification implies acceptance of the changes.
